CALCULUS AND ANALYTICAL GEOMETRY I

COURSE GOALS/OBJECTIVES:
A traditional first course in differential calculus intended for math and science majors. Some proofs of derivative laws. Study of functions, limits, continuity, limits at infinity, differentiation of algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions and their inverses. Applications.
A graphing calculator is required.
Prerequisite: Math&142 (formerly 131) or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better.
